Below is a WORD for WORD copy of a current Lunar Sabbath teaching.

The word yom, which is used in their teaching below, is a Hebrew word that simply means day. Keep this in mind when reviewing the teaching.

Example: The FIRST space of time; or, "The FIRST day."

LUNAR SABBATH TEACHING

The FIRST space of time/yom would be in the BEGINNING when heaven and Earth was created.

The SECOND space of time/yom would be the FIRST day of the six working days when he said let there be light and divided it etc.

The THIRD space of time/yom came to be on the SECOND day of the week.

The FORTH space of time/yom would be the THIRD working day.

The FIFTH space of time/yom would be the FOURTH working day.

The SIXTH space of time/yom would be the FIFTH working day.

The SEVENTH space of time/yom would be the SIXTH working day. This is confirmed in Genesis 2:2 where it teaches He finished everything on the seventh day and then arrested or ceased on the Seventh day. The first seventh that he finished on is the seventh day of the month or sixth day of the week and the second seventh is the seventh day of the week that he ceased on or rested.

The EIGHT space of time/yom would be the SEVENTH/yom Sabbath, after working on his creation for six days. The emphasis is on the creation, then six workdays, then the Sabbath day rest.

The above teaching is suppose to be an explanation of Genesis chapter 1 & 2:1 accounts recorded in the Holy Scriptures. However, when compared to the written account, it simply does not line up.

The individuals that are declaring this teaching to be the scriptural truth, chose not to put their doctrine into a calendar format however. The question is, WHY NOT?

I think it was because they knew it simply would not agree with the biblical account.

With that being said, let's see how their teaching will fit into a calendar format.

No wonder they did not want to put their teaching into a calendar format.

Below I am going to re-post the Lunar teaching that we are examining; but this time, I am going to place the particular scripture portion to the left of the post. By doing this, it will enable us to compare this teaching against the written Word to see if it is indeed lining up. Get out your scriptures and read the scripture portion as you go through this next comparison.

LUNAR SABBATH TEACHING

1^st DAY Genesis 1: 1-5 The FIRST space of time/yom would be in the BEGINNING when heaven and Earth was created.

2^nd DAY Genesis 1:6-8 The SECOND space of time/yom would be the FIRST day of the six working days when he said let there be light and divided it etc.

3^rd DAY Genesis 1:9-13 The THIRD space of time/yom came to be on the SECOND day of the week.

4^th DAY Genesis 1:14-19 The FORTH space of time/yom would be the THIRD working day.

5^th DAY Genesis 1:20-23 The FIFTH space of time/yom would be the FOURTH working day.

6^th DAY Genesis 1:24-31 & Genesis 2:1 The SIXTH space of time/yom would be the FIFTH working day.

Just in case you did not get your scripture out and take the time to read as we go along, allow me to post this scripture for you. Read what Gen. 2:1 says.

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

7^th DAY Genesis 2:2-4 The SEVENTH space of time/yom would be the SIXTH working day. This is confirmed in Genesis 2:2 where it teaches He finished everything on the seventh day and then arrested or ceased on the Seventh day. The first seventh that he finished on is the seventh day of the month or sixth day of the week and the second seventh is the seventh day of the week that he ceased on or rested.

I would like for you to pay close attention to the play on words they use in this portion. They are trying to make you believe that the scripture say he finished everything ON the 7^th day. BUT....this is NOT what the scriptures says. Let's see what the scripture REALLY says.

Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Did you catch that???? On the 7^th day, he ended his work. In other words, he did NO work.

Remember what Gen. 2:1 said. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. They were finished BEFORE the 7^th day, not on the 7^th day.

8^th DAY - But what scripture would you use to support an 8^th day in the creation week? There is none.

Are you confused yet? You should be! This totally contradicts the scriptural account recorded in Genesis. When you read the Genesis account, there is ABSOLOUTLY no break between the creation account in Genesis 1:1 and the creation work which took place in Genesis 1:2-5.

You can clearly see why they did not want to record their teaching in calendar form. There is no 8^th day spoken of in the Genesis creation.

All we are asking for is someone to show us where in the creation account, recorded in the bible, that there is an 8^th day Sabbath spoken of. As of yet, not one person has been able to step forward with scriptural evidence of this 8^th day Sabbath.

But what we do have proof of is, that in the beginning, Yahwah worked 6 days (yomim) and rested on the 7^th day (yom).

We know that that the 7^th day Sabbath was written in stone as recorded in Exodus 20:8-11. However, we can't find any evidence of this 8^th day Sabbath even written on paper. It's simply not there.

This particular lunar group teaches that the biblical Sabbaths falls on the 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd & 29^th. If this is true, then why were these dates not recorded in stone as was the 7^th day?

REMEMBER THESE WORDS WHEN DECIDING WHO YOU WILL BELIEVE.

Deu 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

It seems to me that the persons who came up with this teaching have

done both, they have added to and taken away.

As for me, I will stick with what was written in stone.

1Cor. 14:33 states; For Elohim is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all the assemblies of the saints.

This teaching is bringing confusion into the assembly, and this should not be.

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto Elohim, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The Holy Spirit does not lead us into confusion and false doctrine, but into ALL TRUTH.

Pray earnestly concerning this doctrine. Do not allow yourself to be deceived by seducing spirits that would attempt to convince you that what was written in stone is actually error. Do not be found guilty of adding to, nor taking away from the written WORD of Yahwah.
